Alzheimer Memory Walk 2016

Our First Sponsored Memory Walk in Support of the Alzheimer Society

We were really lucky that the sun shone on the walkers. The route took us through the beautiful village of Bubbenhall and along the path to Ryton Pools. Experienced walkers Alistair and Mike lead the group around the pools and across the woods before leading the group back to Bubbenhall Village Hall to a warm, welcoming bowl of soup and a tasty bacon butty!

Our thanks go to the organisers of the walk and to the walkers themselves. Thanks to Jubilee Wives for preparing the food and to the sponsors who gave so generously. A lovely morning was enjoyed by all - fresh air, excercise and good company, what more could one wish for?
