Gift Aid and the Rotary Club of Calverley
Recently the club has registered with Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs department to enable us to reclaim Gift Aid on donations made to the Club's Charitable Trust Fund.
The Rotary Club of Calverley is a registered Charity. Our registration number with the Charities Commission is 1166066. Recently the Club applied to HMRC for recognition with them as a Charity in order that we could apply for Gift Aid on donations we receive from our members and the general public. For every pound donated we can claim a further 25p from HMRC (providing the donor is paying tax above the level of the claim).
This boost to our income will enable the club to pursue more community initiatives and help support many more local, national and international charities and organisations. You can rest assured that any money you donate to the Rotary Club of Calverley will be used effectively. The club is run by volunteers so there are no massive "Administration" charges and 100% of your gift goes to charity. Please see our website page "The Organisations we Support" to see where donations have been spent.
