2017 Team Legless visit

Tue, Jan 10th 2017 at 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Stuart Robinson enthusiastically assisted by Darren Norman

I have used words like amazing and inspirational in the past, but this man Stuart) is all of that and more.

Fighting for his country in far flung lands, he sustained a long  list of injuries, any one of which would have stopped Mr average in his (or her) tracks.

The list of injuries that included the loss of both legs happened in 2013, and since then he has been active in, for instance, international wheelchair rugby(UK team at the olympics) and cycled round IOM, plus speaking to groups and raising funds for charities.

In 2016, Stuart was awarded the "MILLI award for overcoming adversity".

Stuart has an ambition for the future - the 2020 Tokio Olympics

At this point I would like to add my personal admiration for the support given by Darren to his friend and collegue in all of the above, from the inception of Team Legless and continues in that role.
