On 1st December President Philip, Richard, Carole, Jim and Beryl supported the Brockenhurst Gateway Club open day. They were joined by Lymington Rotary Club President Adam and Tom, David and Cheryl. There were lots of activities on display and Christmas decorations to purchase. The chairman Mike Snell and organiser Pauline French were on hand to welcome us and thank both Rotary Clubs for their support. We were given a preview of a rehearsal for the ‘Spring Musical Jigsaw’ which is at present the subject of a District grant application. Brockenhurst College media students are now expected to be involved in the making of a short documentary following the production of the musical and showing how the local community are involved. The evening ended up with carols to the accompaniment of a brass band. A very happy event.
