BOND LEGACY

A great evening to raise funds for Highfield Students to participate in Rotary Sponsored Projects.

Honorary member of Blackpool South Rotary Club Tony Jo of HRH Entertainments Ltd, once again brought professional entertainers to Highfield Leadership Academy to raise funds for Highfield Students to participate in Rotary Sponsored Projects.  Entertainers Matt Andrews, Nikki Miller, Lois Charlton and Johnny O’Connor who are BOND LEGACY presented a stunning 45 minute show performing many Bond classic songs.  Tony and the Team deserve the greatest of thanks

Mrs Claire Parker, the Academy’s Head of Music arranged an in-house talent competition and the finalists performed on stage, the winner being offered the chance to appear in the ‘Music for Heroes’ show produced by Tony at Blackpool Opera House in June 2017.

Students under the guidance Mrs Larraine Barrett produced a delicious hotpot and vegetarian option, followed by scrumptious apple and pear crumble and individual Victoria sponges.

The event was attended by the Principal Mrs Lynette Norris, Chairman of Governors Paul Fearnley, other Academy Governors, staff members and families of students.  We would like to thank the PTFA who were of great assistance of the night.

Blackpool South Rotary Club members and their friends were pleased to support this wonderful evening. It was a great Team effort.
