A special night to celebrate the 51st Birthday of the Cambridge South Rotary Club - open to Partners, Guests and Friends of the Club in the Main Hall at Westminster College, Cambridge.


This year our Charter Night Committee were especially busy arranging a very special evening including a lovely meal - our excellent after dinner speaker was Lord Wilson of Dinton.

Cambridge South Rotary Club celebrates its 51st Charter Night on Friday 10th March,  £40 each.

Our guest speaker was Lord Richard Wilson of Dinton :

      Lord Wilson has, amongst many fascinating roles, headed the       Economic Secretariat in the Cabinet Office under Mrs Thatcher from    1987–90, was Master of Emmanuel College and most recently Chairman of Hoare & Co Private Bank.

Also gracing the occassion were District Governor Derek Rothwell and his wife plus  Assistant Governor Simon Lake. 

PARKING available in front of the College - enter through main gates off the Queens Road roundabout.

DRINK ON ARRIVAL

S1 Starter:

     Home smoked Scottish salmon, matured single malt whisky, pickled vegetables, lemon mayonnaise.

M1 Main course:

      Corn fed chicken supreme, Southern style chicken bonbon, Lyonnaise potatoes, baby courgette, baby carrots, butternut squash puree and chicken jus.

D1 Dessert:

      Coconut and lime panna cotta, mango sorbet and marinated strawberries. (dairy free and gluten free)

NOTE - All above are dairy and gluten free

OR

Our Vegetarian option:

V1 Starter:

       Spicy butternut squash and coconut cream soup finished with coriander (Vegan and gluten free)

V2 Main course:

        Spinach and ricotta tartlet topped with Parmesan and nutmeg, grilled chicory, roasted tomatoes and baby vegetables.

V3 Dessert:

        Coconut and lime panna cotta, mango sorbet and marinated strawberries. (dairy free and gluten free)
