District 1010 competition at Dundee College

The District 1010 competition was held in Dundee College at the Kingsway Campus on Saturday 28th January. Rotarians Geoff and Anne Sampson and Archie Lawrie were there to support Jaan. Jaan cooked a very delicious and impressive three course menu, however the competition was fierce and Jaan was not in the first three. The first and second place went to two Dundee competitors who have attempted this level three times! Jaan was gven very positive feeback from the judges who all reckoned he would go far and they were impressed with his cooking, his set up and discipline in the kitchen. This is a brilliant opportunity for the pupils to get the experience of cooking under pressure in a professional kitchen especially if it is their chosen career path,
