Speaker: Cllr George Illingworth

Cllr George Illingworth presented The Kenilworth Town Neighbourhood Plan and answered all member's questions he possibly could (from the left Rt Paul Seward, Cllr George Illinworth and Rt Richard Martin).

It was a very informative evening.
We were also delighted to be joined by RYLA students Ana & Paula from Guatemala. They are being hosted by Rtn John and his wife Annie.
They told us a little about themselves and their pleasure in being supported by Rotary In their home country. The Education project in Guatemala is one of our main international programmes in partnership with many other Rotary Clubs around the world.
They were able to hear how we plan things in our community in Kenilwort...h as we had invited Cllr George Illingworth to talk about the Kenilworth Neighbourhood Plan.
We're in for a major growth in our town with many new houses and changes. George invited us to take an interest in the plan and even go along to a public meeting on 25th July to offer our views.
The consensus was that our Town Council had worked very hard to get a substantial document drawn up, which will take our town into the late 2020s.
