• As in previous years, Rotary Clubs are invited to organise a tournament in their area for young golfers in partnership with local Golf Club(s) and local Secondary School(s).
• Entries for the local tournament can come from the hosting Golf Club and or young golfers from within the Rotary Club Area.
• The organising Rotary Club would be responsible for the following aspects of the local tournament:-
a) Arranging for a Golf Club to host the event.
b) Rotary Club would promote the event in conjunction with the Golf Club.
c) The local Rotary Club would provide attractive prizes for the leading scorers in the scratch and handicap sections. The format will be 18 hole stroke play.
d) The Rotary Club would arrange the presentation of prizes, appropriate publicity and photographs for the local press and websites.
e) The host Rotary Club would advise the District Tournament Organiser of the winner of the scratch and handicap events and provide details of who would represent the Club in the District 1020 Final.
The 2022 District Final will be kindly hosted by Rotary Club Linlithgow Grange at Kingsfield Golf Course, Linlithgow. EH49 7LS
The District Final will be held on Thursday 11th August, 2022
Clubs wishing to enter for the District Finals require to register no later than Friday 29th July, 2022 by completing the attached form and returning the completed form to the Tournament Organiser. Names of Club representatives would be helpful but at this stage we need to know numbers willing or able to take part in the competition.
To assist with this project, there will be a Club entry fee of £50.00 (made payable to Rotary District 1020) which should be forwarded to the Organiser, along with the tournament entry form.
Excellent prizes will be presented to the various winners and leading scorers, along with a merit award to all Rotary Club qualifiers.

Further information will follow once we establish how many participants have qualified.
