Meridian Rotary Golf Days have raised over £100,000 for charities

Our club held its Annual Charity Golf Day at Sweetwoods Golf Club on Monday 1st October.
The event was organised by Neal Waddingham and his team and raised funds for the this year's President's charities Momentum Childrens Charity and the Quarry Crew.

SWEETWOODS PARK GOLF CLUB

We held our 20th annual Charity Golf Day with the kind permission and assistance of Sweetwoods Park Golf Club www.sweetwoodspark.com , Cowden, Kent.

The day included coffee/tea and a bacon roll on arrival, 18 hole Stableford competition on the challenging but fair Parkland Course set in the ‘Wealden Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’ on the borders of Kent and Sussex, followed by a two course lunch with coffee and prize giving. 

The event raised a significant amout of money which will be donated to this year's President's chosen charities, the Momentum Childrens Charity and the Stone Quarry Crew in East Grinstead.

Over the 20 years the golf days have raised in excess of £100,000 which has been donated to many charities.

Worth School Senior Winner

The annual Meridian Rotary Youth Speaks debate to placate t Swithun's Church on Tuesday 21st November. The senior team and overall winner was the Worth School Senior Team and the intermediate team winner was Lingfield College Team B.
