“Inspire to Achieve”

Sean Petralia will be talking about how the Guernsey ACF is part of the wider UK ACF and that thy are a fully inclusive youth organisation that is open to all Guernsey youth aged between 12 and 18 both boys and girls from any school.

Their key focus is to help the cadets achieve their potential through military and adventurous training and the values and standards of the British Army. The talk will highlight the type of activities that they do and some case studies of our cadets.

They will also show how they get certain funding from the MOD for basics such as uniforms and subsiding the annual camp but all other costs have to be met through charitable means.

They run silver and gold level DofE which for most kids is the only opportunity they get to do it but all of our expedition equipment will needs replacing.
