Also, at the meeting, Ian Rudd of Diabetes UK, was presented with a cheque for £950. This was the amount raised as a result of the 'Taste of Persia' event. Thanks again to Fari and Tracey for organising the event.

A suprise guest also enjoyed the meeting and received a warm welcome: Rotarian Faridah Chebet Chemisto of RC Cape Town, South Africa. Here she is presented with the Durham Club banner:
