IMPROVING PEOPLE'S LIVES

Foundation Grants to Widnes Rotary Club improved the lives of both Widnes people and those in poorer parts of the world. They have had a significant impact on people's health, alleviated poverty levels and contributed to a better life for many.

more Widnes Rotarians enjoyed ‘Purple4Polio’ donating £136 to the Eradication Programme. This will be matched by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Just 22 cases of Polio were reported in 2017 raising optimism of worldwide eradication of the disease.
