Peter Telfer and Alistair Duff on Eye Health

Thu, Sep 28th 2017 at 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Peter Telfer and Alistair Duff, Urquhart Opticians spoke to us on the topic of eye health on Thursday 28th September. Thanks guys, great presentation, really appreciated.

The Urquhart Opticians practice has been establised for over 100 years, looking after four communities from their practices in Kilmarnock, Prestwick, Troon and Glasgow.

At the heart of their business is a passion to make a difference to people's life by improving their vision - to create meaningful relationships with their clients; to remain proudly independent; and to show responsibility towards their team, clients and the community.

Their existing team of Optometrists includes Alistair Duff, Fiona Black, Lisa Haldane and Linda McColgan. They take great pride in the service that they offer and focus on a personal experience - understanding each of their clients needs on an individual basis. The Optrometists are supported by a team of experienced dispensing, administrative and laboratory staff, several of whom have been with the business for over 30 years.

Looking to the future, Urquhart Opticians is committed to providing their clients with an expert and personal service that is complimented by the very best in fashionable eyewear. They deliver this through investment in their practices, equipment and people. As a values driven business, their promise is that their practices will be a place that you look forward to coming to and will create an experience that matches your taste in style. Their colleagues will make you feel welcome, will treat you as an individual and provide the very best advice that is right for you.

Their Optrometists will use the latest equipment to assess and diagnose your eye health, ensuring that you have complete confidence and understanding of any advice given to you.

This evening Peter, who is the administrator, will talk a little about the business itself while Alistair will give a session on eye health. We very much look forward to meeting them and hearing their story.
