President Gordon Burgess welcomed fifteen other members and encouraged them to attend the Christmas Tree Festival in the United Reformed Church this week, which includes a wide range of evening musical performances. The club's entry was decorated the previous day by Bill Deans, Derek Hall and Gordon.
The Secretary reported that a Christmas card had been received from Jackie Baillie MSP, and read out a letter of thanks from Kate Bennet, chairman of the Gareloch branch of Riding for the Disabled, for the club's recent donation of £460. He also gave details of the annual joint Burns Night with the Helensburgh Garelochside club in the Rosslea Hall Hotel, Rhu, on Monday January 29. The ticket price and start time have still to be confirmed.
He then read the Minutes of the Board meeting of November 28. The weekly raffle for a whisky miniature followed, and was won by Bill Jones.
