President Gordon Burgess welcomed nine other members to the meeting which started at 1.30pm to enable members to attend the funeral of past president Stan Latimer at Cardross Crematorium at 12.15 p.m.
The secretary reported that the winner of the election for Rotary GB&I president 2020-21 was Tom Griffen of the Rotary Club of Woodbridge Deben in District 1080.
International convener Douglas Dow appealed for helpers to be at treasurer Lesley Kennedy's home at 10am to remove the books from her garage and take them to the Salvation Army shop in West Princes Street, and Adam Muggoch appealed for members to come to the Yacht Club a week on Saturday at 10.30am to lay out the entries for the Young Photographer competition for judging the following day.
The secretary read the minutes of the January Board meeting. There was no weekly raffle for a whisky miniature on this occasion while stocks are replenished.
