Member does the marathon

Mark Parker ran his first marathon, the Dorchester Marathon on 28th May 2017

 Sometimes one of our members does something special. 

Poundbury Rotary Club member Mark Parker ran his first Marathon on Sunday 28th May 2017: completed in a time of 4 hours, one minute and a 37 seconds. A number of club members assisted the organisers, the Rotary Club of Dorchester Casterbridge and White Star Running by acting as marshals and in other roles. Mark, together with his brother Dave, ran to raise money for Kennedys Disease, and rasied £757 with more to come. Below is a photo of the brothers, Mark being the one without the cap. A great day, and well done Casterbridge Rotary Club
