Llanelli Rotary Club presents £4400 to local charities, proceeds of the annual Santa's Grotto.

Llanelli Rotary Club raised £4400 during its Christmas Santa’s Grotto collections and welcomed the following guests at their Club on 14th June to receive their individual donations

Air Ambulance : Mr Mark Stephens and his wife Isobelle
Ty Golau(Dementia Friends) :Brian and Jan Lewis
Action for Children :Susan Marsden and Paul Andrews

President Mark Evans thanked what he called the ENABLERS for this initiative
• Llanelli Market Manager-  Amanda Davies,who hosted two weekends of collection in late November
• Tesco Communities Manager Lisa Lewis-who hosted ten days of collection at Trostre Store running up to Christmas
• Sheds and Chalets representative Martin Neve who kindly donated the Grotto
• All Rotarians who contributed to a huge amount of time and effort in raising such a large amount of funding
In three years of the initiative Llanelli Rotary Club have raised a staggering £9500 for local Charities

Each Charity Recipient gave a summary of the plans to utilise their funding which was a huge insight into the Charities focus on community welfare
