Raising money in a fun way
Our yearly 5 mile Dawn Walk took place on Sunday 4th September. It was a misty morning start. Also taking part, as well as the walkers, was scarecrow Lance Corporal Terry Smith. He raised forty pounds which went towards the final amount of £2,200. Our walk started and finished at Goole Rugby Club where a "Cuppa" and Bacon Buttie was waiting for us. The aroma of the bacon made the mouth water.
