The speaker for Wednesday is Wg Cdr Martin Hooker RAF Regt Retd who will speak on UN peace keeping in Cambodia in the nineties, the talk should last about 30 mins. Of interest, his predecessor in Cambodia died in post of Malaria so it was not a picnic!!

Separately he spent some 30 years on CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiation & Nuclear) training, counter measures and
protection within NATO in Europe and latterly at the US Navy HQs at Norfolk Virginia as the UK representative on CBRN. He will be happy to muse on the subject at the end of his talk especially after Salisbury.

Hope this instils some considerable interest, Martin certainly knows allot more about CRBN than the Russian Ambassador at the EU judging by his utterances over the last 24 hours!!! In fact the Russian Ambassador knowledge could easily be printed on the back of a postage stamp.
