Egypt Evening with Prof. Jo Fletcher

Another fascinating evening delving into the latest findings from Egypt.

In 2016 we were delighted to have, for the fourth year running, a dinner and talk by the celebrated Egyptologist and TV presenter Dr Joann Fletcher and her partner Dr Stephen Buckley.

Jo described the latest studies in the Valley of the Kings and other projects whilst Stephen explained how through studies in mummification have revealed  evidence of Egyptian diet and trade with their neighbours.

We are very pleased that Jo and Stephen will be returning this year in November for what is sure to be another fascinating evening.  Check our events page for more information.
