Balgownie Rotary support the SuperCLAN event

Sat, Jul 8th 2017 at 10:00 am - 6:00 pm

Rotarian members of the Aberdeen Balgownie club assisted with car park marshalling at this popular event which took in over £10,000 for CLAN.

A popular event which sees some of the most prestigious super cars flock to the north-east to raise funds for a leading cancer charity has returned.

SuperCLAN, which first took place in 2011, came back to the north-east on Saturday, July 08 and was the biggest yet, with all proceeds going to CLAN Cancer Support.

Organiser and Founder Ross Gatt was hoping to welcome more than 40 vehicles to the exclusive event with an array of prestigious cars already secured including a Lamborghini Huracan and McLaren 650s.

Attracting car enthusiasts from across Scotland, super car owners were invited to take part in the drive which set off from Aberdeen, before touring the north-east and finishing at the Marcliffe Hotel, Pitfodles, in the afternoon.

The cars were then on display, with members of the public welcome to come along, make donations and view the very special collection.
