Re-furbishing 100 wells in Uganda

Joint Project Yeo Vale Rotary and the Busoga Trust.


Hand pumps installed by NGOs have fallen into disrepair and this project aims to work with the Busoga Trust to repair 100 of these. 

The BUSOGA TRUST who are a trusted partner in the building, rehabilitating and maintenance of wells in UGANDA along with local villagers, and they are now working up a programme of work to refurbish 8 wells a month starting in July.  

The cost of refubishing a well and so providing clear water for the community is just £1,000 per well.
