Llanrwst Gala

The Llanrwst Gala was held on the 2nd July 2017 and yet again was enjoyed by everyone

After much work by the Conwy Valley Rotary Club, the annual Llanrwst Gala was held recently in Gwydir Park.

Although the day started slowly, by late morning the crowds were starting to visit the park and enjoy the entertainment and hot food while also soaking up the sunshine.

Highlights of the entertainment were the River City Jazzmen, Mr Bimbamboozle (childrens entertainer), the children’s races and of course the fun dog show organised for the Rotary Club by the Almost Home Dog rescue.

President Ceri Evans commented that it’s good to see local people enjoying themselves at yet another Rotary Club event and that it makes the hard work in organising the annual gala worth while.  He also thanked all the entertainers, stall holders and sponsors for their help in making the Gala a success.

Next year’s gala will be held on the 1st July.
