Thank you for visiting our website

We are a popular and thriving club of mixed age groups and made up of both male and female members.

I am not the first female President and I feel sure I will not be the last.

Our aims are simple.  We wish to make our local and worldwide community a better place to be.

Locally we work with other organisations to assist with their projects for example, maintaining the Millennium Weirwood Reservoir picnic area, marshalling at large local town events, organising the repair and cleaning of our town historic drinking fountain in the High Street. We also run our own local radio show through Meridian FM on a Saturday afternoon.

These are just a few examples of the many things we do.

With the money raised through our many fundraising events we help local worthy causes and through our Christmas appeal we ensure those in need or lonely receive a visit and Christmas gift from Rotary.

Internationally Rotary is often one of the first to provide help for a disaster

with our proactive plans already funded and set in place.

Along with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation we have helped to virtually eliminate Polio from around the world and we have pledged to continue that fight. Our members enjoy each other's company and good humour while achieving all this.

Please have a good look at our website to see our programme of guest speakers and events - but by far the best way of experiencing the richness and diversity of Rotary is by coming along to one of our meetings and experience the friendship and fun for yourself!

We meet at 7.30 pm on Wednesday's, at the Dorset Arms in East Grinstead High Street.

Please feel free to get in touch with me via the link below and come along as my guest, you won't regret it and you may end up sharing our amazing worldwide experience.

Ginnie Waddingham,

President
