Kings Lynn Rotary Club 6th Annual Charity Golf Competition

The sixth annual Charity Golf Day, organised by the Community Services Chairman Rotarian Steve Roberts, was held at the Middleton Golf Club and the event was sponsored by local firms and individuals.

The sixth annual Charity Golf Day, organised by the Community Services Chairman Rotarian Steve Roberts, was held at the Middleton Golf Club and the event was sponsored by local firms and individuals.


The event which attracted twenty one, mens' and ladies', teams was blessed by fine weather and was followed by a meal in the Club House.   The winning team scored 98 points and team Captain Neil Frary thanked the Rotary Club for orgainising such a successful competition and said he looked forward to taking part again next year.

The Rotary Club's Community Service Committee Chairman said that this year the Golf Competition had raised £8,000, all of which would be used to support good causes in the community, many of which have benefitted from money raised by the Club's previous Golf Competitions.

Rotary Club President, Mark Walker, thanked the players for taking part and Steve Roberts for organising the competition.
