The hospitality of Rotary in Guernsey is such that Bill and Jennifer Pierce of
Seaford Club have visited us for the third year running.
Bill (pictured
on the left) came last year as President of his club and this year Jennifer, his
wife, (pictured along side Bill) is this year's President of Seaford Inner
Wheel.
They are pictured taking a sly pre-lunch drink with our respective
Presidents, Simon and Amanda Milsted.
After lunch a packed room enjoyed
the first of this year's 'Club Chatter' presentations. Rotarian Brian Acton
spoke on the title "Guernsey as a World Player". Drawing on his extensive
experience from business networking in Asia he highlighted the opportunities and
challenges that face Guernsey in equal measure as it seeks to hold its own on
the world stage "
