This organisation originally started in the 1960's. Under a different name.

The organisation support adults with learning disabilities 18+, the oldest is 89. 

Locally nearest is Bradford currently supporting 30+ individuals.

Specialist services include domicile care, dementia services, austism and other syndrome specific provision. 

A new service is "love to meet you - l2mu" where individuals with similar needs meet up to chat or go to the cinema or for a coffee.

Project search was set up this is a transition programme where the individuals learn necessary skills to undertake a job with supervision for a year whilst they build their confidence despite of their disabilities. Many of the adults are now employed. Project Search is coming to Calderdale in the near future.

In short, this organisation offers support to individuals who might otherwise not be able to stand on their own two feet in society and grow in confidence through their adult lives.
