The Rotary club of Ashford has had a long and distinguished history of supporting international projects. Fund raised have helped to support humanitarian tragedies plus the provision of resources and personnel in areas of the world less fortunate than ourselves.
The Club plays an active role in supporting Rotary International's campaign for the eradication of Polio worldwide. Recently the hand of friendship has been extended to the Rotary Club of Ulannbaatar in Mongolia and has contributed to the support of Save the Children, South East Asia.
Regular exchage visits are made with our two contact Clubs in Europe, Amiens in France and Vissingen in Holland.
Our objective is to bring to the notice of local community the needs of those less fortunate than ourselves.
