Going red to save lives!
Witney Rotary Evening Group paints one of the phone boxes in the Market Square, Witney to host a new defibrillator.
The Witney Rotary Evening Group undertook to restore one of the phone boxes in the Market Square in Witney in order to house a defibrillator to potentially save lives.
One of the phone boxes has not held a telephone for some time so with the kind permission of BT we were allowed to use it to host a defibrillator - but first the box needed a bit of a touch up. So over a weekend Claire, Mandy, Neil, Stuart and his son Ryan cleaned it, prepared it, undercoated and glossed it ready for the device to be installed in the next few weeks.
