The Club's 70th Anniversary 10th November 2017

Fri 10th November 2017 at 18.30 - 22.30

The celebration was at Highlands End, where over 90 guests, including presidents and members from neighbouring Rotary clubs, attended to celebrate the occasion.

The MC for the evening was past president of the club, Tony Williams.

District Governor Stewart Cursley spoke about the international Rotary project Polio Plus, to eradicate polio worldwide. He aslo presidented certificates to past presidents, Donald Knight for 35 years service and to Clive Jeanes for 25 years.

The evening concluded with, the Nationally well known Lydia Slack, who gave an hilarious talk on life on the farm. What a performance she gave with lots of very funny stories with brilliant timing.
