Charity Duck Race 2018

Duck race was held on Saturday 16th June 2018

The Duck Race is held each year raising money for charities through sponsoring a duck for £1 each.  Currently it is held on the last Saturday of Milngavie Week.

Duck sponsorship can be done at the Allander Rotary Stall at the Highland Games on the preceeding Saturday and on the race day at the Rotary Stall in the Precinct.  The ducks are paraded from the precinct to the bridge at Gavin's Mill at around 3pm.  After arrival ducks are launched into Allander Water and race to the finishing line just past the bridge in Lennox Park.
