On Tuesday evening the 24th of October, Linda Jones of the North Wales Women's Centre Ltd., who are based in Rhyl, gave an in-depth talk on how the centre helps women with various issues who attend the centre for support. Not only women from the surrounding area are supported, as there are out-reach support workers who travel as far as Corwen, Llangollen and various areas around North Wales to support women in need.
Established in 2001, the Centre is a safe place for women to access information, support, advocacy and training on issues relating to health, wellbeing and work.
