Something I love and something I hate

You'll never guess what a visiting speaker told the club about!  Yes! My favourite subject! Walkies!  Dadvi reported it all to me in great detail.  It is all about the Dover Bluebird Trail which takes you on a self-guided walking tour round the town to see important buildings and monuments. http://doverbluebirdtrail.co.uk/  Dadvi and I have already done half of it!

But then the club had a speaker about swimming the channel. I hate swimming. The sea is dangerous, as well as cold and unpleasantly salty. If ever Dadvi goes into the sea I bark loudly, and try to save him if I can. He tells me it was an excellent talk.  But why on earth would anyone want to swim the channel, spending between 6 and 20 hours in cold salty water?  Dadvi took me to visit his sister in Geneva last year, and we crossed the channel in a dry and comfortable ferry, which took about an hour and a half...
