Remembrance Day

President Trevor laid a wreath on behalf of the club at the annual Remembrance Day service.




The annual Ipswich Remembrance Sunday service took place on 12th November at the War Memorial in Christchurch Park. The service, which was organised by the Royal British Legion, was attended by the Mayor of Ipswich, Councillor Sarah Barber, local veterans, cadets, civic leaders and the public. After the service, the Lord Lieutenant, Clare, Countess of Euston, took the the salute at the March Past near Christchurch Mansion.

The Club supports many youth activities including "Crucial Crew", a vital educational programme about safety for year 6 schoolchildren in Ipswich, RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Award), Rotary Young Chef competition and supplies Dictionaries 4 Life.

This Committee is concerned with 'Making a Difference' in our community through a variety of improvement projects, e.g. outings for the older person, stroke awareness days or sailing for disabled children.
