Volunteer Fair Report by Lawrie (In India at the time)
My profound, if belated thanks to Bridget Gook, Pat Porter, Sue Gully, Malcolm Woolley, John Kernan and Patrick Dibben for attending our Rotary stall at the above Fair on Sunday January 28th.
My understanding of the outcome is that although we were not in the main hall, we did get the opportunity of speaking with our visitors away from that clamour.
There was some interest in our club and its activities and several contacts were established which may result in possible additional membership. Above all else it did publicise our Club and put us back on the map.
The Fair had over 500 visitors through the doors that day we would hope that some benefit would be derived for our club from our attendance.
