Headley Court Christmas Tree

Presentation of Christmas Tree to Headley Court

Headley Court , the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre, is closing in September 2018 and is being relocated to very much bigger facilities in Leicestershire. The Centre has been open for some 70 years and in that time has treated 1000's of service men and women.

The Rotary Club of Guildford District have had execllent relations with them through their involvement with the Princess of Wales Royal Regiment, the previous Queens Regiment whose museum was sadly destroyed by the disastrous fire at Clandon House.

To acknowledge this relationship the Club presented a Christmas tree to Headley Court and on Thursday 30th November it was formally accepted by the Centre and it's Commanding Officer Wing Commander Teresa Griffiths OBE from Club President Tony Gorham and several Rotarians.
