Weekly Meeting - Speaker Campbell Wilson

talk on his experiences at Camp in USA this past summer.
Our first address of 2018 was given by nineteen year old Campbell Wlison, a Queen’s Scout from the 10th Perthshire, Perth Academy troop.
In Summer 2015 Campbell had successfully attended the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards Scheme.
Campbell subsequently asked the club to assist him with his travel expenses in Summer 2017, when he was offered the chance to assist in the USA at Camp Hunt, a Scout Camp near Salt Lake City, Utah.
Campbell had been invited to attend the camp for 10 weeks in order to teach water-sports to younger children on Bear Lake.
We assisted Campbell with his expenses & were delighted when he offered to return & address us on his experiences in Summer ’17.
Campbell was an engaging young man who gave a very professional, informative & when necessary humorous address. He was aided by bringing with him an excellent PowerPoint.
