Tonight was the Rotary Club of Motherwell and Wishaw's Handover Dinner, held in the Bentley Hotel.

Members, accompanied by their partners and guests heard the outgoing President, Andrew Murray, review his year as president and comment on some of the highlights. He then installed our new President for the year 2018-19, Andrew Steven, a partner in the Motherwell based law firm, Watters Steven & Co., handing over the Club's Presidential Chain of Office. Pres. Andrew then outlined his plans and thoughts for the new session.

The new Junior Vice President, Katrina Gibbons, was then presented with her medal. The convenors of the new committee were then presented to the members and their guests.

Musical entertainment was provided by guitarist Dorian Cloudsley and singer Shonagh Murray.

The comprehensive vote of thanks was proposed by Callan Dick.

The winner of the Football World Cup, pool stage, forecaster was, a somewhat embarrassed, President Andrew Steven, who organised the competition. He donated his prize to CHAS whose Community Fundraiser addressed the Club last week.
