Meet between 10.00 am and 10.15 am to start walking at 10.30 am, for an easy circular walk of an hour and three quarters duration across fields to Chadstone. There is one standard height, double stile.

WALK REPORT
I was surprised that I had not previously discovered the circular walk starting from the Red Lion at Denton across fields on well maintained footpaths to the hamlet of Chadstone. As, unfortunately, the May walk had to be cancelled it was a little disappointing that there were only six walkers on this occasion.
We enjoyed a very gentle walk of 95 minutes, no more than three miles and we were blest with perfect weather, and on our return to the Red Lion we were rewarded by a choice from a lunch menu of just £6 per person (extremely good value for money).
As no walker did anything untoward, stupid or contributed any outstanding constructive observations, our Walker of the Month Trophy was presented to Margaret Jones for bringing her sister, as a guest, and Margaret will have the responsibility of presenting it again on the July walk.
