Exmoor Challenge 2018

Sun, Apr 15th 2018 at 9:00 am - 2:00 pm

The 2018 Exmoor Challenge between Districts 1175 and 1200 is an annual event. District 1200 has held the winner's shield for some years, so we need to defend our title.

Supporting The Children’s Hospice South West and The Sand Dams Project  -  Sunday 15th April 2017

Rotarians in District 1200 are invited to take part in the 2018 Exmoor Challenge between Districts 1175 and 1200. Last year the event raised over £1000 with 120 walkers competing.

Rotarians, their families, and friends from Rotary Districts 1175 and 1200 earn points for their District by completing either a 4 or 8 mile walk. The shield is currently held by District 1200 and has been for a while. The route will be starting from Oakford Village Hall EX16 9ER from 0800 and passing through the beautiful surrounding countryside.

Walkers over 18 pay an entry fee of £7. Walker’s under18 enter free, but an adult must accompany them. Dogs are welcome, owners must keep them under control as the Challenge is held in the lambing season. PROPER WALKING SHOES/BOOTS ARE ADVISED.

More details will be available during February with the routes, information and sponsorship forms available from the Exmoor Rotary web site.  Meanwhile please register by e mail at - challenge@exmoor-rotary.org.uk
