CALLING ALL DAMS & SIRES!

Wadebridge Rotary Club is organising an International Charity Race Night on Friday 2 March at The Betjeman Centre in Southern Way, Wadebridge.  The event will begin at 7 pm – Doors Open at 6.30 pm – and a Fish Supper with Dessert (courtesy of Nick Pickles) will be served midway through the evening.

A Donation Bar, part sponsored by Sharp’s Brewery, will provide beer, wine and soft drinks.  Tickets, available from The Betjeman Centre in advance of the evening, cost £10 per person and numbers are limited to 60…………...so do please book your places as soon as you are able to do so.

The Rotary Club want this to be a fun and comfortable event to enjoy – a Tote will be available run by ‘Evens’ Eric Buchanan – the Stable favourite – and ‘Combination’ Keith – the Goliath of the Racecourse – and their Fillies (Carole and Gina) the real powers behind the Paddock.

This event is being promoted by the International Committee of Wadebridge Rotary Club, with vital contributions from many other Club Members.  The aim is to use the proceeds raised for a) a significant donation to ShelterBox (the Emergency Disaster Relief organisation, founded and based in Cornwall) and b) as a fund of monies held in The Club’s Trust Account, and ring-fenced for International use only, for future crises and disasters as they occur.  This will enable the Club to help make a more immediate impact on such events.

Please see the adjacent Poster for further information.  Wadebridge Rotary Club looks forward to welcoming all their guests to ‘Race Night 2018’ on Friday 2 March!
