Charity Horse Race Evening

Sat, Nov 11th 2017 at 7:30 pm - 10:30 pm

A fun horse racing evening was held in aid of the Rotary Polio Eradication campaign

Horse Race Night
On 11th November around 70 members and their guests enjoyed a horse race night in St Bart's Church Hall in aid of End Polio Now. Our thanks to Chris Paylor who ran the Tote, Phil Harwood who acted as MC and Catherine and Gill for the ploughman's supper. The event raised £1260 which will be matched 2:1 by the Gates Foundation to provide £3780 towards the eradication of polio across the world. Thus, this one event will enable nearly 8000 children to be inoculated.
