Leave of Absence

How to apply for Leave of Absence

You may use the apologies feature under Members' Area to apply for Leave of Absence for one or more meetings. Select the meeting(s) you are absent, and check Attendance Officer Geoffrey Cooper. Requests for extended leave of absence up to six months should be sent to the Secretary, who will submit them to Council.

There is no longer any need to contact the caterers to advise absence. They will cope with the numbers that attend on the day.

Leave of Absence requests should also include in the comments box either:

  1.  A valid reason for Absence, e.g. Holiday, Illness, Accident or Absence on Rotary Business. OR:

  2. Details of "make-up" of attendance e.g. Visiting another Club, Club Project within two weeks of the meeting.

Written Leave of Absence requests (download form from DOWNLOADS page, or take one from red info binder) should also be sent to the Attendance Officer Geoff Cooper.
