Scottish Rotary Fishing Competition

Mon, Jun 4th 2018 at 9:00 am- Fri, Jul 9th 1909 - 5:00 pm

Calling all Scottish Rotarians interested in Fly Fishing on The Lake of Menteith.

The first leg of the Annual Rotary Harry Rankin Fishing Competition will take place again at
The Lake of Menteith on Monday 4th June, the second leg is Monday 3rd September 2018.

Steve Mannion has successfully looked after this competition for the last few years but has now stood down and passed the baton on to Malcolm Cordwell-Smith and myself Robin Sutton, both from the Rotary Club of Stirling.

This friendly competition is open to ALL Rotarians in Scotland, Districts 1010, 1020 and 1230. A day of good fishing and good fellowship.

We need to confirm as soon as possible the number of boats we require. We normally have 2 persons per boat but can increase this to 3 if requested. You can fish with a Rotarian friend or be paired up with another member on the day.

Fishing starts at 09.30am until 17.00pm. We meet for a meal afterwards at the Lion & Unicorn, Thornhill, Stirlingshire.

The cost is £50.00 per leg, £100.00 for both outings.

Please make cheques payable to Scottish District Rotary Sports dated 1st May 2018.

Please reply by email if you are interested, the first task is to construct an up to date Email list or Mobile phone list A.S.A.P. If you are interested or know any fishermen who might be interested, please contact myself or Malcolm Cordwell-Smith.
