Visit to Rotary Club of Bothwell & Uddingston

Members will visit the Rotary Club of Bothwell & Uddingston, at Bothwell Castle Golf Club. Their speaker will be David Taylor, Location Manager for film and television.
Thirteen members, Paul Begley, Ian Carrol, John Chapman, Des Donnelly, James Gibbons, Hugh Graham, Bill McCallum, Jim Peat, Allan Scott, Roy Simpson, Ian St. John, Tom Sleith and Willie Talbot made the journey to Bothwell Castle Golf Club to visit the Rotary Club of Bothwell & Uddingston. We were joined by a guest from Australia, P.P. James’ Rotarian daughter, Kirsty Snyder.
After the usual greetings were exchanged, an excellent evening of good food and hospitality was enjoyed by all. As their expected guest speaker was delayed, in the north of Scotland, by the recent inclement weather, the two Clubs were greatly entertained by a last minute replacement, local solicitor, David Lingard, of Leonards in Hamilton. David spoke, with great humour, of his varied experiences in the Sheriff Courts of the West of Scotland.
