The first Crocuses have bloomed!

Fri, Mar 16th 2018 at 12:00 pm - 12:00 pm

Earlier this year Broadmead Primary School in Croydon worked with the Rotary Club of Croydon and the Mayor of Croydon to plant crocus bulbs as part of the ‘End Polio’ campaign. This week the students were delighted to see them popping up!

The pictures show crocuses planted by the pupils of Broadmead Primary School in November 2017 in partnership with Croydon Rotary Club to raise awareness of the "End Polio Now" campaign. The road is beside George V Playing Fields off Sydenham Road, Croydon, and near to Broadmead School. As it is now the Spring of 2018 the crocuses are now in bloom.
