Keenan Carr,.a sixth year pupil at Bell Baxter High School, was our speaker on 4th September.
Keenan was the Club's representative on the RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Award) Summer camp at Nethybridge.
He highlighted the personal benefit gained by being one of a group who had a number of challenges to work out as a team with the leader changing daily.
Rock and mountain climbing, gorge diving, coasteering, rugby, other sports and numerous attempts at raft building were all completed in his week at the centre. He was grateful to the Club for sponsoring him and members thoroughly enjoyed his detailed talk.
