The Regionla final was held in The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Glasgow on Sunday 22nd April. 15 competitors took part in the competition: 7 instrumentalists and 8 singers. The standard of performance was extremely high and as well as displaying their talents to the full, the contestants entertained an audience just short of 200 during the afternoon.
The adjudicators were Dr Kevin Bowyer, International organ recitalist and Organist to the University of Glasgow, Dr Kevin O’Connell, composer and Professor of composition at The Royal Irish Academy of Music and Mrs Hilary Dickie, specialist in vocal coaching. All three adjudicators were extremely impressed at the standard of performance and congratulated all competitors on their excellent musical and performing skills.

Vocal category – Eve Pearson Maxwell, sponsored by RC Mid Argyll
