Worsley Rotary Club General Data Protection Regulation Statement
With effect from the 25th May 2018, changes will be applied to Data Protection
Regulation. As a result of this, all organisations will be expected to
implement and comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). It
requires all organisations to obtain explicit consent from any individual whose
personal data it intends to hold for operational reasons, before it will be
permitted to do so.
At Worsley Rotary Club, we pride ourselves on the personal relationships we have with our partners. In order to retain some of the data we hold about our partners which now falls under the new regulation, the data retained by us will be limited and only ever used for legitimate operational reasons, for example to comply with legal or regulatory needs. This will enable us to continue to conduct business with yourselves and be compliant with the GDPR regulation.
Please rest assured that your data will always be retained securely and processed confidentially in a lawful, fair and transparent manner.
By continuing to communicate with Worsley Rotary Club and its operating organisations, you will be deemed to have accepted this condition.
If you would like to comment directly with our Data Protection Officer you can do so by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the Subject as DPO Enquiry.
